~ Condo Manifesto ~

To TB man - you know who you are. You're the idiot who coughs up a lung every morning between 6 and 7am. Either get your sorry ass to the medical clinic or I'm calling the CDC and reporting your infected ass.

And while we're at it, I'm calling animal control on your dog. You can't seem to keep this thing on a leash and figure you'll just shout at the top of your blackened lungs at it. All this does is result in another coughing fit which the dog ignores. One day I expect to find part of your lung in the parking lot.

Put your damned dog on a leash! Then you don't have to worry about shouting at it constantly and hacking on top of it.

Woman driving POS Chevy - two words. Belt. Dressing. Use it. Nobody wants to hear that scrap heap screeching at 5am. Nobody. Don't make me come out there.

Screaming brats - Why the fuck aren't you in bed at 11pm? Where are your parents? Oh, let me guess. They are the SCREAMING ADULTS I hear at 1am.

People, your brats have ALL DAY to scream at the top of their lungs. I suggest they do it. After 11pm if I hear screaming, I'm likely to grab a tranquilizer gun and point it in their direction. These kids need to be in bed or sedated ater 10pm. Nobody wants to hear them screaming.

As for you, if you can't get your damned fighting over before 1am then go somewhere else and argue. I really don't care to hear "stop fucking crying!" screamed thru my window at an ungodly hour. Nor your accusations of overspending, infidelity, gross sexual imposition or anything of that nature. Really. I don't. Want. To. Hear. It. Get it?

How many times do your neighbors have to call the cops on you before you get the idea that you should get into these screaming matches BEFORE 10pm? Every fucking night you're out there, in the parking lot, screaming your heads off along with your damned kids. What are you people, a bunch of neurotic vampires or something? Fucking getting on my nerves. A stake thru your hearts would shut you the fuck up, vampires or not.

And you, stupid SUV drivers - learn to fucking PARK!! YOU are the reason we had to get lines put on the parking lot. If YOU could learn how to fucking PARK there would be enough room for your 3 SUVs in the lot. But no. You think that tank you're driving should take up three spaces because you can't haul your fat ass out of the door using only ONE parking space.

Bitching at ME because YOU don't think there should be lines in the parking lot is not going to change it. I didn't paint them nor did I PAY to have them painted. Why don't you learn to park?

This means pulling that tank all the way up into the space so people can see around it when they are pulling out.

You idiots with the barking dogs - why are these animals being left outside? Tying them out and expecting them not to bark as those screaming banshees run amok is just dumb. And thinking said screaming banshees won't bother the dog is just idiotic.

PUT the dog inside or stick a muzzle on it. I have three words for you. Son of Sam.

Now I know some of you are probably too young to remember that summer of terror in NYC. So let me just say this - serial killer said a neighbors BARKING DOG told him to kill.

Some of us happen to LIKE this hot weather. A lot. And don't use the AC. Yes, believe it. Ninety degrees F and I'm loving it. Just GORGEOUS. Windows open all the time.

So I don't want to hear your screaming, your barking dog, your lungs trying to escape your chest or your POS grinding. SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP.

~ Holiday Weekend ~

It was great. Last weekend was a long weekend for me. Monday was Memorial Day so we were off work. And I took last Friday off to get some things done. So I had a four day weekend last week and it was GREAT!

Friday I went and got a haircut then drove home to take mom to see POTC III. The Big O was gorgeous (nearly heart-stoppingly so in one particular scene) but the movie was a convoluted mess. Ah, well. I wasn't expecting anything intelligent.

It was fun and we liked it which is all that really matters. And the costumes were great.

We got home and I chased the dog (who had the nerve to bark at me!) Saturday morning he jumped up in bed with me and started licking my face and wouldn't stop. It was gross! His breath is VILE. He didn't want me petting him or kissing him at all. He just wanted to lick my face. It's nice he loves me but ew - that breath!

Then dad and I went to the flea market. The weather was just PERFECT! And there was so much junk! But there was also a bunch of stuff that I needed. I picked up a portable folding stool for drumming, 12 sets of dice (for liars dice), and some other odds and ends that I needed for one reason or another.

When we were getting ready to leave, I got some red potatoes and some green beans (gotta love fresh veggies) for supper.

Mom cooked the beans and potatoes up with some hot dogs and it was pretty good. She and I played "liars dice" for a while. It was pretty amusing. Then we got my brother to play (as payment for me taking him to Auto Zone). That was fun. Dad couldn't figure out the rules but we kept right on playing.

I laid the yurt canvas out in the yard to measure it for the insulation. I think this should work ok. I'll need to pitch it up and see how to put it all together before Pennsic.

Summer ice starts on Monday! Wooooo Hoooo! There's ice in the mornings at 730am so I can skate before work. And there is club ice at 6pm so I can skate AFTER work! It's great! Weird that one would have more skating options in the SUMMER than in the winter. But I'm not complaining! I think it's GREAT!

So I'm planning on testing in September sometime. And I'm seriously kicking around the idea of going to Nationals next year. We'll have to see, tho. I really *should* do it. Just for the experience.

I have all summer to think about it and start looking for music. I'd like to test in September then start working on my program for nationals. That way I can start hitting the qualifying events before then to see how I'm doing.

It certainly sneaks up on you quickly, that's for sure. But for right now I'm just going to enjoy being able to skate 3 or 4 days a week. That is like bliss! And then go camping on the weekends. Damn near heaven!
